Histórias locais, projetos culturais: construindo lembran as e esquecimentos (Santa Helena – PR, 1987 – 2000)

This article discuss about “Local Histories” production, taking asa base cultural projects promoted by the municipal public powers; it studies the “Santa Helena History Project” which leaded to the construction of a hegemonic memory in the municipal public sphere, which elected, recently, a specific version of the past as “the” history of the place, putting away other possibilities to understand the localpast.
