Stem cell mobilization in healthy donors with Plerixafor

The mobilization of hematopoietic stem- and progenitor cells (HPCs) from adult-related and unrelated HLAmatched donors for allogeneic stem cell transplantation requires the administration of the granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) given as subcutaneous (sc) injection twice daily for 4-6 days.
