Role of NGO's For Eradication of Rural Poverty Through Women Empowerment : Case study Reference of MATREE Tonk District of Rajasthan

This India is one of the fastest growing economies ofthe world. With second highest population India is one of thenations which have extremes of economic classes. On one handIndia has a long list of multi millionaires on another a majorportion of the country’s population is fighting for the basicrequirements of survival.Being a country with such a large and diversified population itsvery tough for the government to look after the basicrequirements of the people of the nation. Thus the roles of nongovernmentorganizations become very important.The following paper deals with the initiative taken byMATREE federation, in Tonk District of Rajasthan ineradicating poverty in the region through women initiative.
