REFLEX ES SOBRE IMPLEMENTA O E USO DE LABORATóRIOS DE INFORMáTICA NA ESCOLA PúBLICA

In Brazil there is an official policy to expand the access to computational resources for public school students, however, the quality of this offer is limited when it comes to the structuring of computer laboratories. This article presents research that investigates the conditions of infrastructure and use of computerlaboratories in public schools located in five municipalities in the MetropolitanRegion of Recife - PE. From the analysis of the data we make some reflections onthe Proinfo as a public policy in education. The research data analysis showed thatsome schools have difficulties to deal with technical issues and practices involvingdigital inclusion. The study may support reflections on the implementation of publicpolicies for access and use of technologies that consider the school context asan important variable.
