This article presents research that investigates the conditions of infrastructure and use of computerlaboratories in public schools located in five municipalities in the MetropolitanRegion of Recife - PE. From the analysis of the data we make some reflections onthe Proinfo as a public policy in education. The research data analysis showed thatsome schools have difficulties to deal with technical issues and practices involvingdigital inclusion.
