Resumo: O presente artigo abordará a contribui o dos Juizados Especiais, na consagra o do direito de acesso à Justi a, previsto na Constitui o Federal de 1988. O acesso à Justi a é o mais básico dos direitos humanos, propiciando a todo e qualquer cidad o reivindicar os seus interesses e resolver litígios sob os auspícios do Estado. Portanto, n o podem ficar a mercê do Estado que n o tem condi es financeiras para arcar com custas processuais e contratar os servi os advocatícios. De tal forma, foram criados os Juizados Especiais Cíveis para tornar efetiva a abertura do acesso ao Poder Judiciário, com base em princípios como o da oralidade, informalidade, simplicidade, economia processual e celeridade, procedimentos próprios e com a finalidade de sempre que possível obter a concilia o ou a transa o. N o obstante as dificuldades crescentes nos Juizados, esses obtiveram um enorme sucesso, além de contribuir para a paz social, uma vez que resguardam o efetivo acesso à Justi a, previsto na Carta Magna. Abstract: This article addresses the contribution of the Special Courts regarding the recognition of the right of access to Justice under the Constitution of 1988. The access to Justice is the most basic of human rights, enabling any citizen to assert their interests and resolve disputes under the auspices of the State. Therefore, those who cannot afford to pay court costs and hire the services of counsels cannot be left to fend for themselves. In order to address this issue, the Special Civil Courts were created. Their aim was to put into effect the access to the courts, based on principles such as orality, informality, simplicity, speed and economy of procedure, and proper procedures in order to achieve whenever possible conciliation or transaction. Regardless of the increasing difficulties in the Courts, they have experienced a huge success, contributing to social peace and therefore protecting the effective access to Justice as laid down in Magna Carta.
