Implications of J. L. Holland’s theory: applicability of RIASEC structure and assessment to English language teachers of the Kaliningrad regionKeywords: Holland’s theory , RIASEC model structure , vocational needs , English Language Teachers Abstract: This paper sets out to examine empirical implications of J. L. Holland’s theory relevant to the applicability of the RIASEC model’s structure and Holland-based assessments of 240 English Language teachers of the Kaliningrad region. The results proved to be mixed but somewhat more supportive of the applicability of Holland-based RIASEC structure for assessing vocational needs of Russian foreign language teachers.
