UNIVERSIDAD PúBLICA URBANA. PROFESIONALIZACIóN INDíGENA E INTEGRACIóN. LECTURAS DESDE EL CUERPO | PUBLIC URBAN UNIVERSITY. INDIGENOUS PROFESSIONALIZATION AND INTEGRATION. READINGS FROM THE BODY

RESUMEN.- El presente artículo, tomando el cuerpo como referente, pretende recoger, desde la óptica de la docente tutora, algunos aspectos que caracterizan la vida de los indígenas que acceden a una universidad pública de una –relativa– gran ciudad como Medellín. El abordaje está centrado en diferentes perspectivas de lectura de lo que parece ser y de lo que puede interpretarse como el gran reto que representa el desarraigo de alguien de su comunidad indígena, simbólicamente fuerte, para responder a dos extra os: el medio citadino y el escolar. La universidad tiene pendiente la tarea de una verdadera inclusión, que favorezca la real integración y la formación profesional de indígenas. ABSTRACT.- This article, taking the body as a referent, seeks to collect, from the viewpoint of teaching tutor, some aspects that characterize the life of the indigenous that get access to a public University in Medellin –somehow– a great city. The approach focuses on different perspectives of reading of what appears to be and what can be interpreted as the great challenge that represents the uprooted experience from their indigenous community, symbolically powerful, to face two unknown situations, the city and school environments. The University has still pending the task of a real inclusion, that enables real integration and vocational training for the indigenous.
