The Era of Republic have brought to bear many changes. Changes in culture and literature started with Atatürk and have kept on. Saffet Ar kan became the Minister of Education who were in charge with the longest period when Atatürk was the president. During that period a national policy was followed.After the death of Atatürk, smet n nü became the second president of Turkish Republic. During that period, Hasan li Yücel was the Minister of Education. During his service, Hasan li Yücel removed from national policy and followed a more humanist way. The meeting of the 1’st publication congress and the translations of Western classicals is a sign for humanist intellect. During that period, we can see the traces of humanist effects in many areas like literature, theatre, education and culturel fields.
