Acompanhamento do ciclo de vida de Schistosoma mansoni (PLATYHELMINTHES: TREMATODA) em condi es laboratoriais

The development of Schistosoma mansoni was observed during 50 days. Two mices Mus musculus of an experimental group was infected and compared with a control group of non-infected mices of the same specie. Changes in color and hipertrofy features of the porta-hepatic system and some organs were detected in experimental group’s mices. Eggs were intentificated in liver, intestine and excrements. A S. mansoni adult could be observed in one of the infected mices. The project developed on observation of S. mansoni’s cicle since its infection process, incubation, display and identification of desease clinic shape features. The results obtained are according with the corrent studies.
