Aquest article presenta el text original de la lli ó inaugural que Johann Friedrich Herbart llegí l’any 1802 a la Universitat de G ttingen. L’esmentada lli ó va anar adre ada als joves estudiants d’Educació que aquell any iniciaven el curs acadèmic. També aporta una primera traducció d’aquest text, de l’alemany clàssic al català. L’estudi d’aquesta font documental ens possibilita afegir més elements per valorar el llegat i la influència herbartiana sobre la pedagogia del segles XIX i XX. En aquest article es presenta el text original, la seva traducció i algunes de les conclusions que se’n poden extreure. Cette le on était adressée aux jeunes étudiants en éducation qui commen aient, à ce moment-là, leur année universitaire. L’article apporte une première traduction de ce texte, de l’allemand classique vers le catalan. L’étude de cette source documentaire permet d’ajouter davantage d’éléments pour évaluer l’héritage et l’influence herbartienne sur la pédagogie des XIXe et XXe siècles. Dans cet article, nous présentons le texte original, sa traduction ainsi que certaines des conclusions que l’on peut en extraire. Dans un article futur, nous inclurons l’étude réalisée sur le texte ainsi que le contexte dans lequel il a été écrit. This article offers the original text of the inaugural lecture which Johann Friedrich Herbart gave in 1802 in the University of G ttingen. The lecture was addressed to the young students of Education who began their studies that year. It also provides the first translation of the text from German into Catalan. The study of this source document enables us to add new elements in our appreciation of the legacy and influence of Herbart in the 19th and 20th centuries. The article includes the original text, its translation and some of the conclusions that can be drawn from it. A forthcoming article will include the study of the text and the context in which it was written.
