Resumen: El artículo examina el método de la historia de las formas que Hermann Gunkel aplicó al estudio de las leyendas de la Biblia, de interés no sólo para la exégesis de la Biblia sino para los métodos de análisis narratológico. En particular, se revisa el concepto de Sitz im Leben, de un gran potencial a efectos de la comprensión de los textos en su entorno vital e histórico.Abstract: The article deals with the method of the history of forms that Hermann Gunkel applied to the study of the legends of the Bible, of interest not only to the exegesis of the Bible, but to methods of narratological analysis. In particular, there is a review of the concept of Sitz im Leben, of great potential for the understanding of texts in its vital and historic environment.
