Abstract:

The paper deals with issues of communication and argumentation skills of teachers and their temperament traits in terms of pupil. Research was conducted with the assistance of a grant KEGA 3/6241/08. In the research, we seek the answer to some questions of appearing teacher’s behavior to students and evaluation of capabilities and nature of their teachers. We also monitored pupil’s opinions on some statements about the qualities of a teacher. We wondered what character traits of teachers are preferred by pupils in connection to their expression in the individual questionnaire items. Research has shown that for pupils is important that the teacher was their partner, with whom they can engage in dialogue, who can communicate. It was also shown that certain teacher’s character traits does not affect the answers to a questionnaire items because these features are expected from the teacher naturally“. The research shows that development of communication and argumentation skills of future teachers may show up as a critical point to their success in their teaching profession.V lánku sa zaoberáme problematikou komunika nych a argumenta nych kompetencií u ite ov a ich povahovych t z poh adu iaka. Vyskum bol realizovany za pomoci grantu KEGA 3/6241/08. Vo vyskume sme h adali odpove na otázky, ako sa iakom javí správanie sa u ite ov a ako hodnotia schopnosti a povahu svojich u ite ov. Sú asne sme sledovali názory iakov na niektoré tvrdenia o kvalitách u ite a. Zaujímalo nás, ktoré povahové rty u ite ov iaci uprednostnia vo vz ahu k svojim vyjadreniam k jednotlivym polo kám dotazníka. Vyskum ukázal, e pre iakov je d le ité, aby bol u ite ich partnerom, ktory doká e komunikova a s ktorym doká u vies dialóg,. Ukázalo sa tie , e niektoré povahové rty u ite a neovplyvňujú reakcie iakov na polo ky dotazníka, preto e tieto rty sú u u ite a prijímané ako samozrejmos . Z vysledkov vyskumu vyplyva, e rozvoj komunika nych a argumenta nych schopností budúcich u ite ov je ve mi podstatny pre ich úspech v povolaní u ite a.
