Abstract:

The objective of this article due to a dissertation, describing the policies and practices of human resources in nonprofit organizations. From the importance this sector has taken on the national scene, some challenges are emerging for these institutions, including greater competition for funds, which assumes an increasingly efficientmanagement and effective. Having the background of the crisis of the Social Welfare, the charitable interest of private sector organizations and understand the management practices that lead to the necessity of an appropriate HR management means that the rationality inherent in organizations, allows seek a theoretical construct that reinforces this mutual bond between nonprofit organizations and human resource management. The study consisted of a descriptive-qualitative and documents that were used semi-structured interviews in 22 organizations that formed the sample. Conclusively, the analysis of human resource management, on one side showed a lack of relevance that this activity is, despite the strong appreciation of the individual's speech, another had a capacity of insertion and agile enough, not necessarily depend on the formalization of activities that sought to identify.
