ORGANIZA ES SOCIAIS: UM ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE POSSIBILIDADES E LIMITA ES DA GERA O DE INOVA O SOCIAL PELA OSESP

The organizational model know as 'Social oOrganization' was created as a partnership between the state and nonforprofit organization with previous experience in the fields of health, culture, promotion of rights for people with disabilities or sport. The OS model emerged in the Brazilian Reforma do Estado in the 90s, which can be considered as a recent institutional solution that involves logics of the three sectors: public, private and nonprofit. There are two objectives in this paper: on multiméthods of data collection, followed by content analysis, reducing the complexity of a set of texts and allowing not only numerical descriptions, but also interpretation of types, qualities and distinctions. As a result, the case study revealed that the adoption of the model is associated with a high-performance organization object of study,efficient use of resources, with high level management. However, doubts remain that cover the possibilities of generating social innovation effectively. Further studies are suggested to the problems, limitations and dilemmas that have been identified with the operation of the OS model in the public sphere.
