The OS model emerged in the Brazilian Reforma do Estado in the 90s, which can be considered as a recent institutional solution that involves logics of the three sectors: public, private and nonprofit. There are two objectives in this paper: on multim¨¦thods of data collection, followed by content analysis, reducing the complexity of a set of texts and allowing not only numerical descriptions, but also interpretation of types, qualities and distinctions. As a result, the case study revealed that the adoption of the model is associated with a high-performance organization object of study,efficient use of resources, with high level management. However, doubts remain that cover the possibilities of generating social innovation effectively.
