A rare case of facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy and myasthenia gravis

Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is acommon inherited muscular dystrophy presented clinicallywith slowly progressive weakness and wasting of facial andlimb muscles and rare bulbar muscle involvement. Wepresent herein a 70-year-old man who was a known case ofFSHD with complaint of 15-day history of progressivedifficulty in chewing and dysarthria and was found to havemyasthenia gravis. Related literatures have been alsoreviewed.
