Integral backstepping controller in the sensorless vector-control system for permanent magnet synchronous motor
|
Abstract:
A robust control system composing of an integral backstepping controller and a sliding-mode variablestructure model-reference adaptive system (MRAS) is designed for the vector-controlled permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The backstepping control with integral action is employed as the speed and current controllers for the PMSM. The sliding-mode variable-structure MRAS is taken to estimate the speed/position of the drive system. The stability of the speed controller and the estimator is proved by using Lyapunov theorem. MATLAB simulation results validate the good speed-tracking and disturbance-rejection performances of the designed method.
