Application of h-index in Evaluating Individual’s Performances
h 指数在人才评价中的应用——以图书情报学领域中国学者为例

This paper uses Hirsch index(h-index for short) which is put forward by Hirsch Jorge E,to research and analyze information scientists'frequency of citation ranked at top 50 in China by CSSCI over the period 1998-2005.We calculate h-indices of researchers to evaluate their achievements,examine and compare the relationship between h-index and traditional quantitative indices.
