Narrow-band interference suppression in high-frequency spread spectrum system under extremely low SNR
|
Abstract:
LMS adaptive filters can suppress high power narrow-band interference effectively in frequency domain. In HF spread spectrum system under the condition of extremely low SNR, a method for selecting initial weight is proposed. This method can be used to decide whether the narrow-band interference exists and accelerate the convergence rate of frequency adaptive filtering. Effect of truncation is reduced by using data window and overlapped the data between close together data segments. Computer simulation results are presented to validate the validity of the proposed algorithm for accelerating the convergence rate and improving system performance.
