In HF spread spectrum system under the condition of extremely low SNR, a method for selecting initial weight is proposed. This method can be used to decide whether the narrow-band interference exists and accelerate the convergence rate of frequency adaptive filtering. Effect of truncation is reduced by using data window and overlapped the data between close together data segments.
