Design and Implementation of VPN Security Network Gateway Based on Linux and IPSec

IPSec protocol provides security services at IP layer by encrypting and authenticating data packets while being transported in Internet. A system is secure on an open Linux system. The paper puts forward a designing scheme of VPN security network gateway based on IPSec and Linux. And it expatiates a designing principle, function, security mechanism and procedure of implementing. The performance of the security network gateway is analyzed finally.
