Degradation mechanism of aniline by ozonation catalysis
|
Abstract:
We compared the degradation efficiency of aniline by ozonation alone and catalyzed ozonation, and ananylzed the change of products in oxidation process by LC-MS. The results showed that MnO2-CuO-CeO2/zeolite catalyst could effectively improve the degradation rate of aniline by ozonation, and when original aniline concentration was 200 mg/L, the removal efficiency of aniline increased from 75% to 89% after 20 min; LC-MS analysis showed that the degradation products of aniline by catalyzed ozonation are successively p-benzoquinonimine, p-benzoquinone, maleic acid and oxalic acid; and according to that, the degradation pathway of aniline by ozonation is inferred.
