Study on influences of pH values and C/N ratio on denitrification via nitrite
|
Abstract:
Experiments of conical flask were done to study on effects of pH value and C/N ratio on denitrification via nitrite. Results show that suitable range of pH value is between 7.7 and 8.6 and the optimal pH value is 8.2, nitrogen can be continuously removed when C/N ratio is beyond 1.94. Starting specific substrate degradation rate rises with C/N ratio rising, but it hardly increases when C/N ratio is higher than 3.11. Saturation constant Ks of C/N ratio is 9.36 by kinetic analysis on experimental condition.
