Results show that suitable range of pH value is between 7.7 and 8.6 and the optimal pH value is 8.2, nitrogen can be continuously removed when C/N ratio is beyond 1.94. Starting specific substrate degradation rate rises with C/N ratio rising, but it hardly increases when C/N ratio is higher than 3.11. Saturation constant Ks of C/N ratio is 9.36 by kinetic analysis on experimental condition. %K denitrification via nitrite %K pH value %K C/N ratio %K specific substrate degradation rate
