Study on influencing factors in treating simulated reactive dye wastewater by rotating electrochemical disc/electrolytic flocculation process
|
Abstract:
Simulated wastewater of Reactive Turquoise Blue KN-G was treated by rotating electrochemical disc/electrolytic flocculation process. Voltage, rotating speed, pH value and reacting time that most influenced the color and TOC removal were studied, and the optimum reaction conditions were also confirmed. The decoloration rate of 95.3% and TOC removal rate of 73.5% were achieved respectively under the optimum reacting conditions (voltage: 12 V, rotating speed: 70 r/min, pH: 4~5, reacting time: 60 min). In addition, degradation mechanism of Reactive Turquoise Blue KN-G was preliminarily discussed.
