Abstract:

In order to study the biodegradation way of an aromatic sulfurcontaining compound,the resting cell technique was used to get different enzyme.The experimental results show that the degradation enzyme for 4-NO2-Ph-SO2-CH2-CO-OC4H9-i mainly locates in cell and on the membrane.The enzyme in cells converts the tested compound to 4-NO2Ph-SO3H with bond cleavage between carbon and sulfur.By the enzyme located on the membrane the compound is degraded as 4-NO2Ph-SO3H and 4-NO2Ph-SO2-CH2-COOH.The later is yielded with the bond cleavage between carbonyl and alkoxy group.
