Calculation of Geometric Parameters of Sagnac Interferometers

The relationship between geometric parameters of Sagnac interferometers and the field angle and aperture of incident rays was discussed.Based on the analysis of optical paths through a Sagnac interferometer,relational expressions of the optimum geometric parameters were deduced and their modifications were given according to the lateral shear.As a special case,a solid Sagnac interferometer was also presented.
