%X The relationship between geometric parameters of Sagnac interferometers and the field angle and aperture of incident rays was discussed.Based on the analysis of optical paths through a Sagnac interferometer,relational expressions of the optimum geometric parameters were deduced and their modifications were given according to the lateral shear.As a special case,a solid Sagnac interferometer was also presented.
