STUDY ON SCC PROCESS OF Ti IN METHANOL KCl SOLUTION BY MEANS OF MICRO MULTIPLICATIVE MOIRE INTERFEROMETRY
|
Abstract:
The changes of local displacement fields and local strain fields ahead of loaded notch for Ti in methanol+0.6 mol/L KCl solution have been investigated by the micro multiplicative moire interferometer technique. The results showed that the dissolution process of Ti in methanol+0.6mol/L KCl solution could enlarge the size of plastic zone ahead of loaded notch, at the same time, the plastic deformation amounts of the various points in plastic zone increased before nucleation of SCC, i.e. the anodic dissolution could facilitate the plastic deformation around the notch tip during stress corrosion of Ti in methanol +0.6 mol/L KCl solution.
