The results showed that the dissolution process of Ti in methanol+0.6mol/L KCl solution could enlarge the size of plastic zone ahead of loaded notch, at the same time, the plastic deformation amounts of the various points in plastic zone increased before nucleation of SCC, i.e. the anodic dissolution could facilitate the plastic deformation around the notch tip during stress corrosion of Ti in methanol +0.6 mol/L KCl solution. %K laser moire interferometry %K micro multiplication %K Ti %K SCC %K facilitation of deformation by anodic dissolution
