PRELIMINARY STUDIES ON THE BASIC PROTEINS IN NUCLEAR CHROMATIN AND KINETOPLAST OF LEISHMANIA GERBILLI
砂鼠利什曼原虫(Leishmania gerbilli)染色质与动基体碱性蛋白的初步研究

Isolated nuclei of L. gerbilli were used to investigate the nuclear basic proteins. We found that onlv four kinds of histones (H4, H2A, H2B and H3) present in L. gerbilli; histone H1 was absent. When basic proteins extracted from whole cells were compared with those extracted from purified nuclei by electrophoresis, an acid-soluable basic protein (L component) was found existing in the kinetoplast.
