SELF-HEALING BEHAVIOR OF NANO-CERAMICS/CARBON COMPOSITES DURING OXIDATION
纳米陶瓷／炭复合材料自愈合抗氧化行为

The damage-healing process of ceramics / carbon composites material during anisothermal oxidation in oxygen is studied. The effects of nano scaled silicon carbide powders on the self-healing process are discussed. Otherwise, SEM micrograph and XPS method are applied to observe and identify the protective membrane covering the surface. Consequently, Self-healing mechanism and steps of three types of ceramics / carbon composites material are discussed.
