%X The damage-healing process of ceramics / carbon composites material during anisothermal oxidation in oxygen is studied. The effects of nano scaled silicon carbide powders on the self-healing process are discussed. Otherwise, SEM micrograph and XPS method are applied to observe and identify the protective membrane covering the surface. Consequently, Self-healing mechanism and steps of three types of ceramics / carbon composites material are discussed.
