INVESTIGATION ON ROLLING DEFORMATION OF SiC_w/Al COMPOSITE
SiC_w/Al 复合材料轧制变形研究(英文)

Rolling deformation of SiC_w/Al composite has been studied in the present investigation.The experimental results showed that the rollability of the composite was improved greatly by extrusion andit was suggested that the as-extruded composite should be rolled in the direction perpendicular to thewhisker arrangement.However,larger amount deformation could only be obtained by cross-rolling foras-cast composite.The effect of roiling on the strength and ductility has been discussed in detail,and thewhisker rotation and orientation,and whisker aspect ratio(l/d)of the composite were analysed under tworolling deformation conditions.
