Consensus Analysis of Multi-agent Discrete-time Systems

Abstract:
This paper addresses the consensus problem of discrete-time high-dimensional linear systems with or without delays. The considered system can be viewed as a multi-agent system consisting of multiple agents, each of which possesses its dynamics distinct from the others and is in°uenced by the states of all the other agents. This study establishes some necessary and sufficient conditions under which the system solves a consensus problem and explicitly expresses the consensus function if the system has a consensus property. The effectiveness of the obtained results is verified by a numerical example.
