Variable Structure Robust Control for a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems

The problem of variable structure control for a class of nonlinear systems is studied with a geometrical approach in this paper. A design method of sliding mode controller is proposed for uncertain nonlinear systems, and an illustrative example is given to show that the scheme is effective.
