The Characteristics of Nitrogen and Ash Content of 37 Species of Plants on Desert Steppe, Inner Mongolia
内蒙古荒漠草原37种植物氮与灰分含量的特征

The characteristics of nitrogen and ash content of 37 species of plant on desert steppe, Inner Mongolia was reported in this paper. These results show that the Si (1.019%) and ash (12.85%) contents on desert steppe are higher than on typical and meadow steppa, but its N (2.16%) content is lower than typical and meadow steppe. The determination of the content of chemical elements indicated zonal characteristics from east to west in Inner Mongolia steppe zone.
