A MONITORING METHOD FOR SURROUNDING ROCK OF LARGE CAVES AND ITS SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION
大型硐室围岩监测方法及其在某水电站边坡硐室的成功应用

In order to monitor the large caves under the slope of a hydroelectric stationduring their excavation,a new monitoring method is put forward in this paper.The char-acteristics of the new monitoring method and eight successful forecasts with the methodfor the roof falls and surrounding rock collapses of the caves during construction are presented in details.
