Demonstration of Simultaneous Infection with Dengue Type 2 and 3 in A Chinese Patient
国内首次自患者标本中同时分离的登革2型和3型病毒的鉴定

IgG and IgM antibodies to dengue virus(DEN) in patient serum sample were detected with an indirect immuno- fluorescence assay. The patient's serum was inoculated into the culture of C6/36 cells to isolate dengue virus. Viral RNA was extracted from cultured supernatant and RT-PCR amplification and sequencing were carried out. The result showed that there were anti-dengue virus IgG and IgM antibodies in the serum. Both dengue type 2 and 3 virus specific sequences were confirmed by RT-PCR and sequence analysis. The results presented here demonstrated the simultaneous infection with dengue type 2 and 3 viruses in the Chinese patient.
