Experimental Research and Application of Zebrafish and Embryos in Toxicology
斑马鱼及其胚胎在毒理学中的实验研究与应用进展

Zebrafish has the inherent advantage compared with other model animals, and its use in scientific research is growing rapidly. In this review, we introduced the zebrafish genome, including forward genetic, reverse genetic and the application of zebrafish in drug discovery and human disease research; we also summarized the application of zebrafish in developmental biology. Finally, we reviewed the use of zebrafish in various toxicology research fields (acute toxicity, endocrine disruption, developmental toxicity, neurotoxicity, vascular research and cancer research).
