THE ~1H-NMR INVESTIGATION OF CONTORMATIONAL CHANGES IN THE GENOME DNA OF ASCITES CANCEROUS MOUSE
|
Abstract:
In order to study the DNA conformational changes in different cancer culture time, a 1H-NMR spectrum investigation of DNA was conducted. While extending the cancer culture time. the chemical environmental conditions around DNA were changed. It caused the DNA molecule to adopt the different conformation . We found that some methylic protons of thymidylic acid in DNA shifted downfield so that the area of peak I fat 1.9ppm) was reduced, but peak II (at 2.6-2.7ppm proton spectral region) increased The result showed that the area rate of the two peaks (Peak I Peak II) was reduced dramatically. This is a new method to investigate the genetic principle of carcinogenesis.
