Theoretical Study on The Hill Characteristic Equation on Muscle Contraction

Based on the mechanochemical actin-activated myosin ATPase cycle model, utilizing the chemical kinetic method and biochemical thermodynamic principle, taking the experimental results of single myosin into account, Hill characteristic equation on muscle contraction has been deduced in view of energy transduction. This work is helpful for further understanding the Hill characteristic equation and energy transduction in muscle contraction. Another significance of this work is that information regarding myosin properties has been correlated to the functions of muscular fiber.
