EFFECT OF Pb2+ ON THE H-CURRENT ELICITED IN THE ACUTELY DISSOCIATED HIPPOCAMPUS CELL
|
Abstract:
Effect of Pb2+ on hyperpolarization-activated current (H-current) of rat hippocamal cell was studied with whole cell patch clamp technique. The results demonstrated: Pb2+ suppressed the expression of H-current, decreased the voltage sensitivity and increased the activation voltage. Suppression of the expression and change of the voltage-sensitivity of H-current may be one pathway by which Pb2+ expressed its toxicity.
