"Green Chemical" Methods for the Regioselective Synthesis of 1-Hetarylsulfanyl-ω-CyanoalkanesDOI: 10.2478/v10161-010-0006-8 Keywords: "green chemical" synthesis, phase transfer catalysis, alkali hydroxides, 1-hetarylthio-ω-cyanoalkanes Abstract: Novel "green chemical" methods for the synthesis of 1-hetarylthio-ω-cyanoalkanes were elaborated. Phase transfer catalyst ((CH3)4NBr) effect on yield of alkylation reaction was demonstrated. 1-Hetarylthio-ω-cyanoalkanes were isolated in 49-86% yields.
