%X Novel "green chemical" methods for the synthesis of 1-hetarylthio-¦Ř-cyanoalkanes were elaborated. Phase transfer catalyst ((CH3)4NBr) effect on yield of alkylation reaction was demonstrated. 1-Hetarylthio-¦Ř-cyanoalkanes were isolated in 49-86% yields.
