Abstract: the study shows how five dimensions of affective well-being at work (comfort, pleasure, enthusiasm, vigor and placidity) predict a measure of self-reported individual performance. a sample comprising 272 employees working in 132 organizations was collected. the main findings are as follow: (a) affective well-being at work explains 23% of variance of self-reported individual performance; (b) the main predictors are enthusiasm and vigor.
