Revista chilena de literatura , 2010, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-22952010000100005
Abstract: pablo neruda's twenty love poems and a song of despair (1942) is one of the cardinal books of spanish american lyric sociability and sentimental education. however, this work has been widely scrutinized and examined -turned from document into "monument"- both its generative process and socio-critical correlative context have not been sufficiently pondered in order to tackle the mechanisms and procedures that co-construct its second published edition by the poet. from bio-bibliographical, critical, and historical references, this article attempts to synthetically explore the textual, aesthetic and socio-cultural strategies articulated in twenty love poems 'manufacture, proposing an interpretation that emphasizes the author 's self-critical exhaustively, and the paradoxes of this work s valuation, especially considering its reception in chile.
La amante invisible en Pablo Neruda:: Poema "2" y "Alianza (sonata)"
Goic,Cedomil;
Atenea (Concepción) , 2004, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-04622004048900004
Abstract: this article analyzes on a limited plane the image of the invisible lover in the poetry of pablo neruda. the varied configuration can be found extensively in his poetry from his first books through his last. beyond the biographic substratum that has led to the establishment of identities and circumstantial references for each one, in this configuration the components of desire and hostility enter into neruda -eros and thanatos- in a great variety of constructions, visions or images that will allow the stimulation of an important and poorly developed dimension in the study of his poetry. in the vanguard this image of pure light appears captured in the flesh, or well hidden in the city, in a flower or, for an alchemist, in a metal according to elémire zolla. we may now add: also in the ?night?, in what neruda would call noctural clarity.

Abstract: Full Collection of Song Poemsis an important anthology in Song Dynasty, and is a major achievement of literature review of the whole dynasty. After proof-reading the rhyming charaters in the rhyming works by Jiangzhe scholars ,we have found a number of debatable points in Full Collection of Song Poems, including 19 examples of wrong words. For example, “居”should be written as “君”, “僭” as“ ”, “痤” as“瘗”, “辰” as“长(?L)”, “贪” as“贫”, “年” as“牟”, “麋” as“麇”, “夹” as“?”, “?L” n as“?”, “声(?)” as“鼙”, “久” as“夕”, “卫(?l)” as“衙”, “瑟” as“琴”, “?Z” as“绿”, “织(?)” as“纤(?w)”, “潭” as“浑(??)”, “长(?L)” as“畏”, “谋” as“媒”, “鬓” as“?P”.
From the perspective of the history of ci poetry, the Qing Dynasty witnessed the successive emergence of various ci schools. The compilation of “Selected Poems of the Four Song Masters” is directly and intricately connected with Zhou Ji’s ci poetics. Zhou Ji’s pursuit of “Hun Hua” (integrated transformation) emphasizes implicit expression, naturalness, and the avoidance of artificial embellishment in ci creation. He elevated “Hun Hua” and “Ji Tuo” (allegory) as the supreme aesthetic ideals in ci theory, thereby further deepening the theoretical framework of the Changzhou School of Ci. However, the concept of “Hun Hua” is not novel; it is inextricably linked to the pre-Qin Daoist philosophy.

The Book of Songs is the first collection of Chinese poetry in which love poems not only record the state of love and marriage and domestic life in the pre-Qin period, but also vividly reflect the female view of love at that time. Although the women’s marriage view in the Book of Odes is influenced by the social cus-toms at that time and has the inevitable limitations of the Times, but the women in this period un-der the ancient tradition are still different from the later women bound by feudal ethics, with a closer modern women’s marriage view on love freedom and equality between the two sides. In the Book of Odes, the women’s views on marriage and love are expressed as the passionate pursuit of love, the demand for the fidelity of the spouse and the rational choice in the face of marriage change, which are still of vital edifying and contemporary value to posterity.

Sunara, Nikola
- , 2015,
Abstract: Sa?etak In this paper the author interprets a series of oral lyrical poems published in different anthologies. These poems are collected on the territory of the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The sea is a common motive which connects all selected poems. The author tires to determine the place which the sea occupied in people’s minds, as the creators of the oral literary heritage. The poems interpreted in the paper belong to different subgenres of oral lyrical poems, so they are classified according to certain subtypes they belong to. The variety of subtypes confirms that the sea is important in all spheres of life and in the areas which are not geographically directly related to the sea, but they have maintained lively correspondence with the marine and coastal area. Oral lyrical poems are explained multidisciplinary and special attention is given to aesthetic and existential function of these poems whose lait motive is the sea

Abstract:Eulogies about a Broken Hairpin is a poetry anthology comprised of more than 700 poems written by nearly 500 poets during the period of Emperors Jiaqing, Daoguang and Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. During the regimes of Jiaqing and Daoguang, TANG Yi-fen widely solicited poems for his painting "Eulogy about a Hairpin" in order to eulogize the virtue of his mother who struggled for chastity and educated him and his brother after the death of his father. Finally a painting poetry anthology came into being. The anthology, with the main purpose to extol maternal love and advocate maternal virtue, reveals the opposite and complementary relationship between poetic talent and virtue, and the contradiction between the finite existence of things and the infinite affection of human beings. The poems of the same topic written by female and male poets in the anthology also demonstrate opposite and related power and meanings. The anthology with magnificent poetry tension was an ensemble of maternal love, which purified the ethos of poetry circle, increased the variety of themes and strengthened the expression of the poetry.
The Sevdalinka as Bosnian Intangible Cultural Heritage: Themes, Motifs, and Poetical Features
Efendi?, Nirha
- , 2015, DOI: 10.15176/vol52no105
Abstract: Sa?etak This paper discusses interpretations, categorisations and inventories of the sevdalinka, an oral lyric tradition from Bosnia and one of the country’s most important examples of intangible cultural heritage. The sevdalinka represents traditional oral lyric poetry, a celebrated form of love song, which came into existence in urban places in a broader region of the Balkans as a fusion of the existing lyrical forms and Islamic influences. The term sevdalinka for this kind of songs became widely accepted only at the end of the 19th century. Before that, this oral lyrical tradition was usually called sevdalija. Both terms, sevdalinka and sevdalija, have their roots in the Arabic word sawdā adopted as sevdah (meaning love, desire, longing) via Turkish into the languages of some Balkan peoples. In today’s context, the sevdalinka is most often understood as a Bosnian (or more precisely, Bosniak) indigenous traditional love song. As an important part of the Bosnian intangible cultural heritage, ethnologists, ethnomusicologists, folklorists and other scholars have often used the sevdalinka as a source and medium through which to explore various social, historical and cultural traditions in Bosnia. This paper will first provide a historical summary of the records, inventories and research interests in this oral lyrical genre and then offer an overview of the categorisations of the sevdalinka in specialized encyclopaedias and literary theory. Finally, by analysing themes and motifs found in sevdalinkas, the paper will discuss a number of scholarly examples from manuscripts published in late 19th and early 20th century in Bosnia and Herzegovina
