this essay is aimed to study the documents and work of the documentary filmmaker marta rodriguez and to describe the way in which, in the record, the existent correlates are a possibility of audiovisual and anthropological creation. there coexist more stories than those known today, and her legacy is not an immovable object but a re-interpretative one. so, there is not a changeless past, but one prolonging itself in the configuration of present and future.
