Literary translation, as a key vehicle for cross-cultural communication, constantly faces linguistic conversion challenges arising from cultural differences. This paper focuses on the specific manifestations of cultural differences in linguistic expression, analyzing the impact of cultural differences on translation practice from the perspectives of values, religion, and folk customs. It reveals the practical difficulties at the levels of vocabulary, syntax, rhetoric, and context, and proposes targeted linguistic strategies. Only by taking both linguistic form and cultural connotation into account can the equivalent transmission of meaning in a cross-cultural context be achieved.
